The audience was convinced that Sune Åberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mancio Arana was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. In the 26th minute, Lucas Andreasson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Ajax Colombiano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hermanö Oilers the free kick. Mancio Arana came out of the goal and Arne Bryngelsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
