The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that António Borges's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Moïse Mouton was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

52 minutes into the match, Billy Loy had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Júlio Lage. ZEZOM TEAM's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Billy Loy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. António Borges's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 56thth minute, Moïse Mouton skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Júlio Lage made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Billy Loy in the 61st minute of play. António Borges who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of Moïse Mouton when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 64 minutes into the match, Billy Loy notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of ZEZOM TEAM's Júlio Lage. Júlio Lage was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. António Borges was shown his second yellow card after 70 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. ZEZOM TEAM's Sandro Caldas pulled a muscle in his leg after 71 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 71 minutes into the game, Ronald Modeste was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. In the 82nd minute, Faustin Soret hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 83 minutes into the match, ZEZOM TEAM's Hermínio Luz broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 86 minutes into the match, ZEZOM TEAM's goal looked a bit too open when Ronald Modeste came free, but Júlio Lage reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Merlin Roch fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Perthes United's protests and gave Merlin Roch a yellow card for diving instead. Merlin Roch kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the ZEZOM TEAM players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Perthes United.
