Artur Van De Wijngaert scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fernandão de Medeiros, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jean Neiva during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 7 played minutes Cachaceiros FC got a freekick which was hit by Jean Neiva. After some careless play in the Cachaceiros FC defense, Artur Van De Wijngaert kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fernandão de Medeiros. The Cachaceiros FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fernandão de Medeiros should have stopped the shot. Diederik Huijberechts kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the game, Diederik Huijberechts was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Limburg United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cachaceiros FC the free kick. A collision led to Limburg United getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Diederik Huijberechts hit a great ball. Cachaceiros FC's Fernandão de Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilliam Roelandts in the 28th minute of play. A hard shot 31 in the game by Osmar Santos from a close distance when the talented Robbie Van Beylen managed to make a qualified save. Limburg United's players were relieved. The supporters of Cachaceiros FC booed when Limburg United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lieven Balckmans didn't get a good kick on the ball. Osmar Santos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Robbie Van Beylen made a huge save. 48 minutes into the match, Osmar Santos notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Limburg United's Robbie Van Beylen. Robbie Van Beylen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gilliam Roelandts was the one to do the kick off. In the 56thth minute of the game Osmar Santos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Limburg United's Robbie Van Beylen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 58 minutes into the game, Yan Salgado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cachaceiros FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Limburg United the free kick. Yan Salgado hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Cachaceiros FC's Fernandão de Medeiros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Cachaceiros FC from getting a goal against them. After having played for 68 minutes, Osmar Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cachaceiros FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Osmar Santos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 70 minutes into the match, Limburg United's goal looked a bit too open when Osmar Santos came free, but Robbie Van Beylen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robbie Van Beylen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osmar Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Cachaceiros FC booed when Limburg United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lenny Van de Poel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernandão de Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diederik Huijberechts in the 78th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fernando Rocha during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fernando Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 84th minute Diederik Huijberechts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernandão de Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Limburg United getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Mark Heijligem hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Limburg United's Gilliam Roelandts got a free kick in the 90th minute. Robbie Van Beylen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osmar Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. The Cachaceiros FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Limburg United's performance. The match ended with a win for Limburg United.
