In the 19th minute of the match Peter Bank sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Robbie Van Beylen skillfully saved the ball. After 43 minutes, Lieven Balckmans mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Limburg United and the Hermanö Oilers players grew even worse after the yellow card. 0-4 became the score in the 45th minute when Arne Bryngelsson elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gilliam Roelandts made a kick off. Peter Bank who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of Robbie Van Beylen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Per Hultstrand could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Robbie Van Beylen made a huge save. 61 minutes into the game, Peter Bank recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Robbie Van Beylen. Peter Bank showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. Per Hultstrand took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Robbie Van Beylen. Robbie Van Beylen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. The audience was convinced that Peter Bank's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Robbie Van Beylen was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Robbie Van Beylen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Bank, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. The Limburg United fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Hermanö Oilers were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
