The shot was stopped by Thiago Miranda but with some difficulty. Algot Danielsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago Miranda having to interfere. Thiago Miranda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per-Åke Grönlund in the 25th minute of the match. When Rubinho Perez came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rubinho Perez couldn't finish the play. Rutger Cane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rubinho Perez, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Rubinho Perez might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rutger Cane. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rubinho Perez ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Carlinhos Rodrigues hit a great ball. Algot Danielsson's late challenge caught a FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Algot Danielsson helped the player get up and apologised. After 40 played minutes Stakbröte got a freekick which was hit by Algot Danielsson. Rubinho Perez scored 0-1 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rutger Cane, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Stakbröte players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Algot Danielsson was the one to do the kick off. FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's Rubinho Perez got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rutger Cane didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlinhos Rodrigues went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Rutger Cane made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Marcel Severo sent off a good shot on target. Thiago Miranda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Algot Danielsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rubinho Perez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute, Algot Danielsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stakbröte fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. A sloppy throw-in by Dé Galvão in the 79th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Stakbröte's Kim Ahlberg. Tor Trillkott fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago Miranda having to interfere. After having played for 84 minutes, Algot Danielsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stakbröte's supporters crossed their fingers, but Algot Danielsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Stakbröte booed when FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdemar Arósio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thiago Miranda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Algot Danielsson in the 87th minute of the match. Rutger Cane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rubinho Perez in the 88th minute of play. Stakbröte's Rutger Cane proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Stakbröte from getting a goal against them. The Stakbröte supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's performance. The match ended with a win for FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA.
