Spectators: 7542 (Terracing: 5658, Seating: 1734, VIP seats: 150) Jelle Roels made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stratos Savouras in the 5th minute of play. Louis Theofilopoulos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christian Van Maestricht in the 8th minute. The supporters of FC Draconia booed when Bazellatin F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dimitris Venetis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Louis Theofilopoulos came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Draconia's Christian Van Maestricht. But to his dismay, Christian Van Maestricht quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Louis Theofilopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfons Ceulemans in the 21st minute of the match. In the 22nd minute, FC Draconia's Kobe Bosbeeck seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Kobe Bosbeeck the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FC Draconia protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Kobe Bosbeeck had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 23 played minutes FC Draconia got a freekick which was hit by Kobe Bosbeeck. Bazellatin F.C.'s Thodoris Diamantidis couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 24th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FC Draconia. Jelle Roels showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Loukianos Karalis in the 31st minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Stratos Savouras left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bazellatin F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Alfons Ceulemans charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfons Ceulemans the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 42 played minutes FC Draconia got a freekick which was hit by Birger Struelens. The supporters of Bazellatin F.C. booed when FC Draconia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cornelis Van De Ven didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 44 played minutes, Bazellatin F.C.'s Thodoris Diamantidis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jelle Roels came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bazellatin F.C. reached it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Stratos Savouras made the kick off in the second half. With his leg Jelle Roels managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Bazellatin F.C.'s Stratos Savouras fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Stelios Antonatos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Jelle Roels made a huge save. 58 minutes into the match, FC Draconia's goalkeeper Jelle Roels had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Loukianos Karalis. With a little luck, FC Draconia's Jelle Roels got control of the ball when Stratos Savouras tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Birger Struelens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Birger Struelens hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. FC Draconia's Jelle Roels played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thalis Sapakis in the 68th minute of play. Loukianos Karalis's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jelle Roels firmly grabbed it by the left post. 72 minutes into the match, Stratos Savouras had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jelle Roels. FC Draconia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stratos Savouras was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. In the 77th minute, Bazellatin F.C.'s Dimitris Venetis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. 84 minutes into the match, Bazellatin F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Wes Van Der Meeren came free, but Louis Theofilopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Bazellatin F.C. getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Dimitris Venetis hit a great ball. The Bazellatin F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Bazellatin F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
