Spectators: 7534 (Terracing: 5652, Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Geronimo Aritza kicked off to start the match. In the 4th match minute, El Retorno de Palermo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Anaya to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to El Retorno de Palermo getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Astor Abar hit a great ball. Geronimo Aritza had several of the El Retorno de Palermo's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 11 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Amancio Urtats as he didn't even see the shot coming. Bernabe Arano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldo Tiniebra in the 17th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Aquiles Cordearo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of El Retorno de Palermo booed when CERPA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafin Luke didn't get a good kick on the ball. El Retorno de Palermo's Amancio Urtats played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geronimo Aritza in the 36th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Serafin Luke left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CERPA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

After 52 played minutes, CERPA's Delmar Valente shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Amancio Urtats came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in CERPA reached it. Amancio Urtats stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Geronimo Aritza's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aquiles Cordearo got free with Bernabe Arano in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Geronimo Aritza struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Amancio Urtats didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CERPA. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Geronimo Aritza in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amancio Urtats saved El Retorno de Palermo from getting behind. A collision led to CERPA getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Serafin Luke hit a great ball. In the 85thth minute of the game Geronimo Aritza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Retorno de Palermo's Amancio Urtats was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpected shot in the 88th minute by Osvaldo Tiniebra got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Bernabe Arano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldo Tiniebra in the 92nd minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The CERPA fans cheered their team off the field, for while El Retorno de Palermo had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
