Spectators: 7541 (Terracing: 5657, Seating: 1734, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Osvaldo Tiniebra kicked off to start the match. Osvaldo Tiniebra blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Guaberto Cebo having to make a save. Federico Insúa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amancio Urtats having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Osvaldo Tiniebra during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 22 minutes, Nicolas Burutzagi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quitilipi and the El Retorno de Palermo players grew even worse after the yellow card. El Retorno de Palermo's Amancio Urtats played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robustiano Clementi in the 29th minute of play. Osvaldo Tiniebra got his second yellow card in the match during the 41st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 43rd match minute, El Retorno de Palermo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvaldo Tiniebra to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Federico Insúa made the kick off in the second half. If Carolo Alonso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Federico Insúa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, El Retorno de Palermo's Rigoberto Anaya got a free kick in the 65th minute. After 68 played minutes Quitilipi got a freekick which was hit by Jonatan Berdaitz. Isidoro Shepherd could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Guaberto Cebo made a huge save. 71 minutes into the match, El Retorno de Palermo's goal looked a bit too open when Urbano Nuñez came free, but Amancio Urtats reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rigoberto Anaya hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. A very good chance. 80 minutes into the match, El Retorno de Palermo's Isidoro Shepherd sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Guaberto Cebo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isidoro Shepherd got free with Guaberto Cebo in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Isidoro Shepherd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carolo Alonso charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carolo Alonso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 85 played minutes El Retorno de Palermo got a freekick which was hit by Carolo Alonso. Cornelio Itzaina hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Amancio Urtats came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Quitilipi's Federico Insúa. But to his dismay, Federico Insúa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Federico Insúa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The El Retorno de Palermo players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Quitilipi from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
