An unexpectedly hard shot by Alessio Ubriaco in the 29th minute of play forced Fargo SC's goalkeeper Dick van der Stoel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC Mims's zone, Otto Jacobs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernardo Aceto came out of the goal and Otto Jacobs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Alessio Ubriaco sped through Fargo SC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dick van der Stoel. After a rather tough play, FC Mims's Bruno Locatelli got a free kick in the 37th minute. After a rather tough play, Fargo SC's Teo Dekker got a free kick in the 41st minute. The Fargo SC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Mims were winning 0-2.

In the 59th minute, Hugo Rueda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dick van der Stoel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anfilogino Pantano in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fargo SC's goalkeeper Dick van der Stoel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Amerigo La Penna kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. A collision led to Fargo SC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Hugo Rueda hit a great ball. After 78 played minutes FC Mims got a freekick which was hit by Amerigo La Penna. Dick van der Stoel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alessio Ubriaco showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 95 minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC Mims had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
