In the 8th minute Dadá Dias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zenaido Urtiaran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xove Bernedo hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. 12 minutes into the game, Olavo Dionísio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MelissaMel's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Montevideo City Torque the free kick. The supporters of Montevideo City Torque booed when MelissaMel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olavo Dionísio didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Montevideo City Torque getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Jerold Santalla hit a great ball. Gonzales Alfeiran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wanderson Favoretto having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Gonzales Alfeiran had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wanderson Favoretto. MelissaMel's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gonzales Alfeiran was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The audience was convinced that Gonzales Alfeiran's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wanderson Favoretto was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. In the 36th minute, Gonzales Alfeiran ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wanderson Favoretto was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After a rather tough play, Montevideo City Torque's Xove Bernedo got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind MelissaMel's goalkeeper Wanderson Favoretto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Quinito Folch hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dadá Dias to make the kick off. Zenaido Urtiaran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olavo Dionísio in the 53rd minute of the match. Zenaido Urtiaran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olavo Dionísio in the 57th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Xove Bernedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Montevideo City Torque's supporters rose to their feet, but Xove Bernedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wanderson Favoretto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Montevideo City Torque's Zenaido Urtiaran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olavo Dionísio in the 63rd minute of play. If Gonzales Alfeiran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 72 minutes into the match, MelissaMel's goal looked a bit too open when Xove Bernedo came free, but Wanderson Favoretto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gonzales Alfeiran's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wanderson Favoretto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. A collision led to Montevideo City Torque getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Gabriel Almarza hit a great ball. The supporters of MelissaMel booed when Montevideo City Torque was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guilllermo Llamosas didn't get a good kick on the ball. MelissaMel's Wilton Bertassi got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg Wanderson Favoretto managed to avoid a goal in the 85thth minute, when Montevideo City Torque's Gonzales Alfeiran fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Hitzeder Remirez hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 92nd minute of the match Wilton Bertassi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zenaido Urtiaran showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 96 played minutes Montevideo City Torque got a freekick which was hit by Quinito Folch. The Montevideo City Torque players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
