The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Emanuel Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emanuel Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wanderson Favoretto having to interfere. A collision led to PIAUÍ FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Agnaldo Sá hit a great ball. Joãozinho Yver could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Wanderson Favoretto made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Olavo Dionísio managed to get in a good position for a shot. MelissaMel's supporters rose to their feet, but Olavo Dionísio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Paulo Zonta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. José Paulo Zonta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dadá Dias in the 18th minute of the match. Wanderson Favoretto came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by PIAUÍ FC's Emanuel Vale. But to his dismay, Emanuel Vale quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 27th match minute, MelissaMel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olavo Dionísio to maneuver through the defense. Wanderson Favoretto had great luck who in the 28thth minute grab hold of the ball when Emanuel Vale from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 32ndth minute of the game Emanuel Vale who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MelissaMel's Wanderson Favoretto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When PIAUÍ FC's Emanuel Vale in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MelissaMel's goalie prevented a goal. Wanderson Favoretto made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Matheus Sá sent off a good shot on target. Matheus Sá sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emanuel Vale scored 2-0 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wanderson Favoretto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Olavo Dionísio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Paulo Zonta having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emanuel Vale was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of PIAUÍ FC booed when MelissaMel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilton Bertassi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wanderson Favoretto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Vale in the 65th minute of the match. Claudinei Macedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Paulo Zonta having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, MelissaMel's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Vale came free, but Wanderson Favoretto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. MelissaMel's Wanderson Favoretto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Vale in the 81st minute of play. Wanderson Favoretto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Joãozinho Yver got in the 88th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Wanderson Favoretto handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. 90 minutes into the match, MelissaMel's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Vale came free, but Wanderson Favoretto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Vale in the 91st minute of play forced MelissaMel's goalkeeper Wanderson Favoretto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 93 minutes into the match, MelissaMel's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Vale came free, but Wanderson Favoretto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. PIAUÍ FC's Emerson Hermes got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emanuel Vale recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. PIAUÍ FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of MelissaMel for a fine match.
