Iosif Slătineanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herminio Iyan having to interfere. After 22 played minutes Maravilla got a freekick which was hit by Simon Rameriz. Manuel Tremurici hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Iustin Şerbănoiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Rameriz in the 25th minute of the match. Maravilla's Guido Rodríguez was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Iustin Şerbănoiu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Iosif Slătineanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Herminio Iyan made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Ernest Gheorghiu sent off a good shot on target. In the 47th minute, Iosif Slătineanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Simon Rameriz made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Cornelio Odol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Saul Unax kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 53rd minute, Ionică Burtea made a precise shot to the right of Herminio Iyan. Maravilla's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Iustin Şerbănoiu was a little too slow when Simon Rameriz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 1-1. The supporters of FC ciufulici booed when Maravilla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nemesio Damario didn't get a good kick on the ball. Herminio Iyan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernest Gheorghiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Maravilla getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Nemesio Damario hit a great ball. FC ciufulici were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
