Iustin Şerbănoiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Villalaz in the 7th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, FC ciufulici's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Calderón came free, but Iustin Şerbănoiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iustin Şerbănoiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Villalaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 14 minutes into the game, when Ovidiu Vrânceanu put in a rough tackle. 13 minutes into the game, one of FC ciufulici:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 16th minute there was a penalty for ORION F.C.. Sebastián González stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Iustin Şerbănoiu. 0-2. In the 20th minute Calito Espino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iustin Şerbănoiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute of the match ORION F.C. got a corner. FC ciufulici's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sebastián González ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Sebastián González got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Iustin Şerbănoiu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After some careless play in the FC ciufulici defense, Eduardo Calderón kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iustin Şerbănoiu. The FC ciufulici fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iustin Şerbănoiu should have stopped the shot. After 29 played minutes ORION F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Calderón. When Ernest Gheorghiu came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the FC ciufulici fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernest Gheorghiu couldn't finish the play. Iustin Şerbănoiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Calderón in the 33rd minute of play. Iustin Şerbănoiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Calderón in the 36th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ionică Burtea during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 37th match minute, FC ciufulici was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ionică Burtea to maneuver through the defense. Iustin Şerbănoiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Calderón in the 39th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Eduardo Calderón had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iustin Şerbănoiu. FC ciufulici's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eduardo Calderón was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alex Villalaz was the one to do the kick off. Ionică Burtea took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pablo Arauz. Pablo Arauz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alex Villalaz got free with Iustin Şerbănoiu in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 57 minutes into the match, Manuel Moscoso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iustin Şerbănoiu. FC ciufulici's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Manuel Moscoso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. Iustin Şerbănoiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Calderón in the 60th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Alex Villalaz notched a goal, 1-6, to the right of FC ciufulici's Iustin Şerbănoiu. Iustin Şerbănoiu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alex Villalaz's late challenge caught a FC ciufulici's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alex Villalaz helped the player get up and apologised. Pablo Arauz came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by FC ciufulici's Ernest Gheorghiu. But to his dismay, Ernest Gheorghiu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-6. Alex Villalaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Eduardo Calderón kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Iustin Şerbănoiu. That made the score 2-8 in the 77 minute of play. FC ciufulici's Iustin Şerbănoiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Calderón in the 80th minute of play. Iustin Şerbănoiu was a little too slow when Manuel Moscoso got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 2-9. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alex Villalaz got free with Iustin Şerbănoiu in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. ORION F.C. had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
