In the 7th minute, AC Kingriver-Ljungsarp RK's Joel Kinnman seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Joel Kinnman the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of AC Kingriver-Ljungsarp RK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Joel Kinnman had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Erik Sigman had in the 8thth minute some difficulties stopping Dagoberto Sanches's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Dagoberto Sanches had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erik Sigman. AC Kingriver-Ljungsarp RK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dagoberto Sanches was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Erik Sigman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dagoberto Sanches, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lino Zonta in the 16th minute of play forced AC Kingriver-Ljungsarp RK's goalkeeper Erik Sigman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute Dagoberto Sanches shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Sigman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jon Dusett was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 21st minute. The supporters of AC Kingriver-Ljungsarp RK booed when ROSÁRIO SPORT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rômulo Carioca didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kjell-Arne Albäck got free with Horácio da Cunha in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Börje Ahlstedt to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute of the match, Pedrão Porto got a very nice opportunity to score, but Erik Sigman was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Erik Sigman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedrão Porto in the 59th minute of play. 60 minutes into the game, ROSÁRIO SPORT's Tales Alagoano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erik Sigman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 64th minute Valentin Andersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horácio da Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lino Zonta kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Horácio da Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Börje Ahlstedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Börje Ahlstedt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Zebastian Julin's late challenge caught a ROSÁRIO SPORT's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zebastian Julin helped the player get up and apologised. After 72 played minutes AC Kingriver-Ljungsarp RK got a freekick which was hit by Zebastian Julin. Lino Zonta kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, Dagoberto Sanches dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Erik Sigman, 1-3. In the 83rd minute of the match AC Kingriver-Ljungsarp RK got a corner. ROSÁRIO SPORT's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kjell-Arne Albäck ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Kjell-Arne Albäck got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Horácio da Cunha quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 84th match minute, ROSÁRIO SPORT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Fantini to maneuver through the defense. ROSÁRIO SPORT's Horácio da Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Andersson in the 87th minute of play. After a rather tough play, AC Kingriver-Ljungsarp RK's Michael Dahlqvist got a free kick in the 89th minute. Dagoberto Sanches succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-4 in the 90th playminute. The supporters of AC Kingriver-Ljungsarp RK booed when ROSÁRIO SPORT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Pedro de Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 97 played minutes, AC Kingriver-Ljungsarp RK's Kjell-Arne Albäck shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Horácio da Cunha came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in AC Kingriver-Ljungsarp RK reached it.
