Spectators: 7587 (Terracing: 5691, Seating: 1745, VIP seats: 151) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Attila Hohnjec started the match with the kick off. If Dominik Majhenič had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 8 minutes into the game, Muharem Razdevšek was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. HIT Gorica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Attard Gunners the free kick. Attard Gunners's defense didn't have a chance, in the 15th minute, when Attila Hohnjec scored to the left of an out of position Andrea Cilia, making the score, 1-0. 19 minutes into the match, Robert Gera had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Urh Lupša. HIT Gorica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Robert Gera was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After a rather tough play, Attard Gunners's Neil Lia got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd minute of the match, Jaka Vinger tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Andrea Cilia saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Andrea Cilia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jaka Vinger in the 25th minute. When Vasko Osmić came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the HIT Gorica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vasko Osmić couldn't finish the play. Andrea Cilia came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by HIT Gorica's Attila Hohnjec. But to his dismay, Attila Hohnjec quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 35th match minute, HIT Gorica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Attila Hohnjec to maneuver through the defense. HIT Gorica were furious when Gliša Bozja was red carded, 36 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 43 minutes, Jaka Vinger mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the HIT Gorica and the Attard Gunners players grew even worse after the yellow card. 46 minutes into the game, HIT Gorica's Attila Hohnjec nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andrea Cilia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1.

The wind increased when Kevin Delia made the kick off in the second half. Dominik Majhenič sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andrea Cilia came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by HIT Gorica's Attila Hohnjec. But to his dismay, Attila Hohnjec quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. A collision led to Attard Gunners getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Anthony Salamone hit a great ball. Gregor Trdina took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 63rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Andrea Cilia. Attard Gunners's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Attila Hohnjec's late challenge caught a Attard Gunners's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Attila Hohnjec helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to HIT Gorica getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Attila Hohnjec hit a great ball. Attila Hohnjec sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Neil Lia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Robert Gera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urh Lupša having to interfere. In the 77thth minute of the game Attila Hohnjec who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Attard Gunners's Andrea Cilia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 79th minute, Kevin Delia fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Urh Lupša, passed just outside the right post. In the 83rd minute Attila Hohnjec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrea Cilia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Attard Gunners's Aidan Zrinzo got a free kick in the 83rd minute. When Michael Fiott fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Attard Gunners's protests and gave Michael Fiott a yellow card for diving instead. Michael Fiott kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute Attila Hohnjec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrea Cilia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
