An unexpectedly hard shot by Murillo Lima in the 29th minute of play forced ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C.'s goalkeeper Norberto Mero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dorival Silveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvio Cesario in the 30th minute of play. After 32 played minutes ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Loreto. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gualterio Mero during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Agroboys SM - CIMZ booed when ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gualterio Mero didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Eliézer Araújo from long distance, 40 minutes into the match, got Norberto Mero's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Silvio Cesario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorival Silveira having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Válbson Rosa made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C. defense, Murillo Lima kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Norberto Mero. The ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Norberto Mero should have stopped the shot. Silvio Cesario took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dorival Silveira. Dorival Silveira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 69 minutes in the game, Silvestre Etor fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Dorival Silveira having to interfere. After some careless play in the ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C. defense, Murillo Lima kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Norberto Mero. The ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Norberto Mero should have stopped the shot. After 74 minutes, Olívio Sousa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Agroboys SM - CIMZ and the ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Olívio Sousa kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Norberto Mero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olívio Sousa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
