The supporters of DeportivoIndependienteMDP booed when El coca fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celestino Pio didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The DeportivoIndependienteMDP fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Enrique Brun should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eustaquio Jorrin during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Enrique Brun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Loco Martin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luciano Aballe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Paul, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. If Jonas Paul had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
