Szymon Fleischer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aristide Ispirescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Szymon Fleischer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aristide Ispirescu went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. After the first half Club Atlético Timișoara were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alexandru Maia was the one to do the kick off. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Alexandru Maia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Szymon Fleischer made a huge save. Adam Teleagă's late challenge caught a KSF Racovia Częstochowa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 93rd minute Aristide Ispirescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Szymon Fleischer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manuel Vulpescu's late challenge caught a KSF Racovia Częstochowa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Manuel Vulpescu helped the player get up and apologised. Manuel Vulpescu hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The Club Atlético Timișoara players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
