In the 81st minute, one of Inter de Melão:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Inter de Melão. Edson Salles hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Sabin Corcoveanu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gildo de Alcântara came out and tried to block the shot, but Sabin Corcoveanu slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 95th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Club Vertigo walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
