Spectators: 7516 (Terracing: 5638, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Damian Bobailă started the match with the kick off. Remus Greavu made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Hannes Pulver sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ivan Dănilă in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bert Vihmann saved FC Hugo from getting behind. Tudor Proca took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bert Vihmann. Bert Vihmann dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. When Eikki Niilus fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Hugo's protests and gave Eikki Niilus a yellow card for diving instead. Ivan Dănilă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Bert Vihmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bert Vihmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tudor Proca, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After some careless play in the FC Hugo defense, Damian Bobailă kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bert Vihmann. The FC Hugo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bert Vihmann should have stopped the shot. Damian Bobailă took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bert Vihmann. Bert Vihmann dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hannes Pulver to strike the kick off in the second half. Hannes Pulver struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Remus Greavu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Hugo. Kusti Olev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Remus Greavu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of FC Hugo booed when Club Vertigo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sabin Corcoveanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 67 minutes into the game, Tudor Ionașcu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Vertigo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Hugo the free kick. In the 67th match minute, Club Vertigo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tudor Ionașcu to maneuver through the defense. The Club Vertigo fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when Club Vertigo's Damian Bobailă looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 75 minutes, Kusti Olev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Hugo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kusti Olev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Kusti Olev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 91 minutes into the match, FC Hugo's goalkeeper Bert Vihmann had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ivan Dănilă. Remus Greavu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hannes Pulver, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
