With a little luck, Inter de Melão's Gildo de Alcântara got control of the ball when Carlos Solera tried to sneak it across the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, FC CHIVA's goal looked a bit too open when Valdo Ribeiro came free, but Rai Villalcazar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Inter de Melão booed when FC CHIVA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Solera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sydney Loureiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristóvão da Costa struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Rai Villalcazar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Inter de Melão. Sydney Loureiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Franco Noya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute, Sagrario Diez made a precise shot to the right of Gildo de Alcântara. Inter de Melão's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Sydney Loureiro hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. FC CHIVA's Rai Villalcazar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sydney Loureiro in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Franco Noya got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 41 minutes into the match, Sydney Loureiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rai Villalcazar. FC CHIVA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sydney Loureiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. If Sydney Loureiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Jonas Vuelta made the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute Sydney Loureiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rai Villalcazar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, FC CHIVA's Rai Villalcazar got control of the ball when Sydney Loureiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rai Villalcazar was a little too slow when Cristóvão da Costa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 2-2. With an all-out effort, Inter de Melão's Rai Villalcazar threw himself towards the right post 83 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sydney Loureiro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Rai Villalcazar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sydney Loureiro's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Sagrario Diez kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. After 89 minutes of play FC CHIVA's Jonas Vuelta was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Jonas Vuelta hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Cristóvão da Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to FC CHIVA getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Carlos Solera hit a great ball. In the 96th match minute, FC CHIVA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fermín Sainz to maneuver through the defense. Inter de Melão were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing FC CHIVA to leave the ground with a draw.
