Gildo Veiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Remus Greavu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. B-S-L's Gildo Veiga got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 6 minutes into the game, Club Vertigo's Doru Cara nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nilson de Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Nilson de Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nistor Iftimescu went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 30th minute, Doru Cara made a precise shot to the right of Nilson de Amorim. B-S-L's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Through an outstanding action, after 39 minutes, Remus Greavu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. B-S-L's João Adolfo Fontes got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gildo Veiga kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 45thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Club Vertigo's keeper Remus Greavu was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Bruno Sampaio hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for João Adolfo Fontes to strike the kick off in the second half. Remus Greavu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gildo Veiga in the 51st minute of play. When B-S-L's Gildo Veiga in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Club Vertigo's goalie prevented a goal. In the 55th minute, Bruno Sampaio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gildo Veiga struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Remus Greavu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for B-S-L. In the 59th minute, Iulian Şteflea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th minute Gildo Veiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remus Greavu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romeo Galiceanu was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 61 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Club Vertigo fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 61st minute. Penalty! 66 minutes into the match, Club Vertigo's goal looked a bit too open when João Adolfo Fontes came free, but Remus Greavu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Viorel Ghițescu came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Club Vertigo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Viorel Ghițescu couldn't finish the play. B-S-L made a substitution. Basílio Netto replaced Bruno Sampaio. With a little luck, B-S-L's Nilson de Amorim got control of the ball when Ivan Dănilă tried to sneak it across the goal line. 91 minutes into the game, Doru Cara recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nilson de Amorim. Doru Cara showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. After 96 minutes of play, B-S-L's Gildo Veiga made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Remus Greavu was left in no man's land by his defense there!
