Lavrits Bjørnfalk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albert Bergqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Lavrits Bjørnfalk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingvar Waller in the 35th minute of play. A collision led to Sunkens Surtröjor getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingvar Waller in the 48th minute of play forced ATOWN's goalkeeper Lavrits Bjørnfalk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Svend Heepe made a kick off. Karl-Johan Lekberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Godtfred Kellmer in the 52nd minute of play.
