After 18 minutes, Moises Telesforo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Academia Club and the Chelsea Football Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Academia Club getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Victor Ordono who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of Hermengildo Arotza when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Chelsea Football Club were furious when Constantino Romero was red carded, 34 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Fabian Abajas was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 35th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal.
