Manu Abbott charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Andres Gaizkine could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Uriel Albuerne made a huge save. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vicent Caussade made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vinos Chaparro got free with Astor Teofilio in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Algarrobo getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Candido Nuñez hit a great ball. Uriel Albuerne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorio Tanio in the 62nd minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, Vicent Caussade had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Astor Teofilio. Club Atletico Lanus's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vicent Caussade was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Uriel Albuerne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andres Gaizkine in the 72nd minute of the match. The supporters of Club Atletico Lanus booed when Algarrobo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manu Abbott didn't get a good kick on the ball.
