Spectators: 7679 (Terracing: 5760, Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Casimiro Gabon started the match with the kick off. If Eustacio Giraldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 10th minute, Andres Gaizkine made a precise shot to the right of Aaron Fe. Patricio Rey Futbol Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The supporters of Club Atletico Lanus booed when Patricio Rey Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Corderall didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th match minute, Club Atletico Lanus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clemente Bingen to maneuver through the defense. 17 minutes into the match, Tomas Quilino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Astor Teofilio. Club Atletico Lanus's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomas Quilino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. When Tomas Quilino came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Patricio Rey Futbol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Quilino couldn't finish the play. In the 28th minute, Paolo Urtun had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Patricio Rey Futbol Club's Timoteo Urbes was substituted for Paolo Urtun. If Eustacio Giraldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 38 minutes, Joel Corderall mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Patricio Rey Futbol Club and the Club Atletico Lanus players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Patricio Rey Futbol Club's Joel Corderall got a free kick in the 39th minute. During the 41st minute of the match Joel Corderall completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Joel Corderall a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 41st minute, Joel Corderall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

In the 61st minute, Andres Gaizkine got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 67 minutes into the match, Patricio Rey Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Victorio Tanio came free, but Aaron Fe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Patricio Rey Futbol Club getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Casimiro Gabon hit a great ball. Tomas Quilino kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andres Gaizkine in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aaron Fe saved Patricio Rey Futbol Club from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Diego Montae during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 80 played minutes Club Atletico Lanus got a freekick which was hit by Diego Montae. Clemente Bingen kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Clemente Bingen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aaron Fe came out and tried to block the shot, but Clemente Bingen slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 94th minute. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
