After 4 played minutes, Fcion C.A.'s Lino Sanson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Uriel Albuerne came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fcion C.A. reached it. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Algarrobo's goalkeeper Uriel Albuerne, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 12th minute Fcion C.A. were awarded a corner. Lino Sanson went to the cornerflag to take it. Fcion C.A.'s Lino Sanson was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Uriel Albuerne in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Algarrobo's Manu Abbott got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 16 minutes into the match, Fcion C.A.'s goalkeeper Alonzo Tartalo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manu Abbott. If Manu Abbott had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Celestino Sarracino during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 19th minute, Celestino Sarracino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alonzo Tartalo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristóbal Pinaud, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alonzo Edur charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 28th minute, Fcion C.A.'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cristóbal Pinaud fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Vinos Chaparro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Alonzo Tartalo made a huge save. If Vinos Chaparro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Fcion C.A. booed when Algarrobo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Candido Nuñez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Arnulfo Nuno managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fcion C.A.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Arnulfo Nuno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Uriel Albuerne breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 39th minute Celso Bilintx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uriel Albuerne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Fcion C.A.'s goalkeeper Alonzo Tartalo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristóbal Pinaud. The wind increased when Celso Bilintx made the kick off in the second half. The score was now 2-2. 81 minutes into the game, Celso Bilintx cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Uriel Albuerne was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Emmanuel Aguilera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Fcion C.A.'s zone, Vicent Caussade stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alonzo Tartalo came out of the goal and Vicent Caussade tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Vinos Chaparro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fcion C.A.'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
