He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Iordache Sfârlea. Basarab Ioniță's late challenge caught a CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Basarab Ioniță helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Uptown Otters's Basarab Ioniță got a free kick in the 28th minute. Hector Jakes came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Uptown Otters's Aristide Crivac. But to his dismay, Aristide Crivac quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 35th minute Paul Encescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hector Jakes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th match minute, CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Leoiar to maneuver through the defense. Hector Jakes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basarab Ioniță in the 38th minute of the match. After 47 minutes of play, CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE's Reynaldo Elodio made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iordache Sfârlea was left in no man's land by his defense there! No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Paul Encescu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 57thth minute, Hector Jakes skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 59 minutes into the match, Marcelo Bibiano notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Uptown Otters's Iordache Sfârlea. Iordache Sfârlea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hector Jakes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paul Encescu's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. In the 65th minute Reynaldo Elodio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iordache Sfârlea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Basarab Ioniță hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After 70 minutes, Remus Stanca mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Uptown Otters and the CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE players grew even worse after the yellow card. Remus Stanca kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. If Costin Brașoveanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Through an outstanding action, after 84 minutes, Hector Jakes successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.
