The supporters of Kernsdorf SSA booed when CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. After a rather tough play, Kernsdorf SSA's Krzysztof Rekowski got a free kick in the 41st minute. Czeslaw Sakowicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Hector Jakes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wincent Erland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Kernsdorf SSA's Wincent Erland slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hector Jakes. That made the score 2-4 after 79 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Klement Milko in the 83rd minute of play forced CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE's goalkeeper Hector Jakes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 84 minutes, Raimundo Eskuin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE and the Kernsdorf SSA players grew even worse after the yellow card. Wincent Erland took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hector Jakes. Hector Jakes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-5. The Kernsdorf SSA supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Kernsdorf SSA would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
