The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With his leg Waldir Pontes managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when Uptown Otters's Aristide Crivac fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Breno Diniz kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Xandeco FC defense, Aristide Crivac kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Waldir Pontes. The Xandeco FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Waldir Pontes should have stopped the shot. 36 minutes into the match, Xandeco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aristide Crivac came free, but Waldir Pontes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aristide Crivac in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Waldir Pontes saved Xandeco FC from getting behind. Aristide Crivac could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Waldir Pontes made a huge save. Aristide Crivacs short, quick shot in the 48thth minute got Waldir Pontes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Virgílio Teixeira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Matei Mischie kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After 63 minutes, Breno Diniz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Xandeco FC and the Uptown Otters players grew even worse after the yellow card. Breno Diniz hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Mihail Tuleiu charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mihail Tuleiu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 69 played minutes Xandeco FC got a freekick which was hit by Virgílio Teixeira. Aristide Crivac succeeded in the game's 71st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. Aristide Crivac recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Xandeco FC's goalkeeper Waldir Pontes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 84 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Xandeco FC! The referee gave Uptown Otters a penalty, 86 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Matei Mischie, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Xandeco FC's Waldir Pontes. 4-0. Petruț Rogozea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristide Crivac in the 96th minute of play forced Xandeco FC's goalkeeper Waldir Pontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the Uptown Otters players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
