Cícero de Carvalho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 7th minute, Horácio Pontes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Aracatiara EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Nilton Sabóia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amadeu Toledo, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 13 minutes, Paulo Andrade successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 16 minutes into the match, Horácio Pontes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nilton Sabóia. Phoenix Fc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Horácio Pontes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Paulo Andrade made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cícero de Carvalho in the 20th minute. Duda Trancoso might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paulo Andrade. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Duda Trancoso ran back to his position shaking his head. Duda Trancoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nilton Sabóia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horácio Pontes, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Nilton Sabóia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amadeu Toledo in the 32nd minute of the match. Paulo Andrade was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Afonsinho Lucas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 34 minute of play. In the 37th minute, Cícero de Carvalho reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Paulo Andrade. The goal made the score 3-2. Mateus de Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Aracatiara EC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Afonsinho Lucas fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Horácio Pontes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute Afonsinho Lucas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Mateus de Carvalho got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 4-2. 59 minutes into the match. Cícero de Carvalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Andrade having to interfere. In the 65th match minute, Phoenix Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arlindo Sabóia to maneuver through the defense. Cícero de Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alberto Quadros charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alberto Quadros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 77th minute of the game. One of Aracatiara EC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Phoenix Fc:s goal. The referee gave Phoenix Fc a penalty, 79 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Hílton Baptista, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Aracatiara EC's Paulo Andrade. 5-3. Afonsinho Lucas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Afonsinho Lucas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Andrade having to interfere. Laércio Sampaio struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Paulo Andrade didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Phoenix Fc. If Cícero de Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Amadeu Toledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Nilton Sabóia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Aracatiara EC booed when Phoenix Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duda Trancoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute, Afonsinho Lucas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Mateus de Carvalho fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Phoenix Fc's protests and gave Mateus de Carvalho a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Aracatiara EC booed when Phoenix Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateus de Carvalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee ended the match the Phoenix Fc players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
