After 8 played minutes Phoenix Fc got a freekick which was hit by Duda Trancoso. When João Pedro Figueiredo fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Phoenix Fc's protests and gave João Pedro Figueiredo a yellow card for diving instead. Santos Manso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Nilton Sabóia made a huge save. After 16 played minutes Phoenix Fc got a freekick which was hit by Vivaldo Alvarenga. Nilton Sabóia made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Anaya Ledrado sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, MetalGarurumon F.C's Guillerme Pamo got a free kick in the 19th minute. Nilton Sabóia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anaya Ledrado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. MetalGarurumon F.C's Fiz Umpanera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duda Trancoso in the 23rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Santos Manso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nilton Sabóia was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abelardo Hernández in the 31st minute of play forced Phoenix Fc's goalkeeper Nilton Sabóia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lorenzo Fierro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Nilton Sabóia made a huge save. 46 minutes into the game, Anaya Ledrado recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nilton Sabóia. Anaya Ledrado showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anaya Ledrado to strike the kick off in the second half. Nilton Sabóia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santos Manso in the 54th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, Phoenix Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Gillermo Soliz came free, but Nilton Sabóia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, MetalGarurumon F.C's Oliverio Pujado got a free kick in the 58th minute. Fiz Umpanera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from João Pedro Figueiredo went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. João Pedro Figueiredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fiz Umpanera having to interfere. Lorenzo Fierro kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Eladio Sotillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Phoenix Fc getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Duda Trancoso hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliverio Pujado in the 82nd minute of play forced Phoenix Fc's goalkeeper Nilton Sabóia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With 84 minutes on the clock, Eladio Sotillo commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 85th minute, Eladio Sotillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 87 minutes into the match, MetalGarurumon F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Afonsinho Lucas came free, but Fiz Umpanera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 88 minutes, Gillermo Soliz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MetalGarurumon F.C and the Phoenix Fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. The MetalGarurumon F.C fans cheered their team off the field, for while Phoenix Fc had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
