Jagiellonia Bialystok's Ksawery Osowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulpiano De Gracia in the 3rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulpiano De Gracia in the 6th minute of play forced Jagiellonia Bialystok's goalkeeper Ksawery Osowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute, Zenon Niemojewski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pablo Ortega got free with Ksawery Osowski in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jagiellonia Bialystok's Ksawery Osowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Jagiellonia Bialystok from getting a goal against them. 15 minutes into the match, Pablo Ortega had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ksawery Osowski. Jagiellonia Bialystok's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pablo Ortega was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 18th minute of the match, Pablo Ortega got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ksawery Osowski was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 19 minutes into the match, Jagiellonia Bialystok's goal looked a bit too open when Wiliam Gómez came free, but Ksawery Osowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Witold Siembab hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Flamengo de San Blás's Ulpiano De Gracia slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ksawery Osowski. That made the score 2-0 after 29 minutes of play. Pablo Ortega's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 32ndth minute, Ksawery Osowski skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 34 minutes into the match, Jagiellonia Bialystok's goalkeeper Ksawery Osowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pablo Ortega. A nice corner shot did that Wiliam Gómez got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ksawery Osowski quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 38th minute of the game. One of Flamengo de San Blás:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Jagiellonia Bialystok:s goal. Radomir Miecznikowski shot the penalty kick right outside the post. After some careless play in the Jagiellonia Bialystok defense, Pablo Ortega kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ksawery Osowski. The Jagiellonia Bialystok fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ksawery Osowski should have stopped the shot.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Reinaldo Murillo made a kick off. Ulpiano De Gracia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Ksawery Osowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ulpiano De Gracia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ulpiano De Gracia might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ksawery Osowski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ulpiano De Gracia ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Jagiellonia Bialystok's zone, Ulpiano De Gracia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ksawery Osowski came out of the goal and Ulpiano De Gracia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 62nd minute Ulpiano De Gracia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ksawery Osowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Jagiellonia Bialystok booed when Flamengo de San Blás was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian De Gracia didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Jorge Fernández fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Flamengo de San Blás's protests and gave Jorge Fernández a yellow card for diving instead. Jorge Fernández hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute Gustaw Majerowicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgardo Murillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Christian De Gracia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ksawery Osowski was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. The Flamengo de San Blás fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when Flamengo de San Blás's Ulpiano De Gracia looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Flamengo de San Blás made a substitution. Felipe Carranza replaced Jorge Fernández. Jagiellonia Bialystok's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
