Spectators: 7498 (Terracing: 5624, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 149) Petru Sabău started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The Muget fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when Muget's Petru Sabău looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Bogdan Pătrașcu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th minute Petru Sabău shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dorel Pascu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner ended in Petru Sabău almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but -BZF- Viitorul Buzau's Dorel Pascu did a great save. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Petru Sabău sped through -BZF- Viitorul Buzau's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dorel Pascu. 19 minutes into the game, Albert Baican was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. -BZF- Viitorul Buzau's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Muget the free kick. After 19 played minutes -BZF- Viitorul Buzau got a freekick which was hit by Albert Baican. After 23 minutes, Bogdan Gârneață mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Muget and the -BZF- Viitorul Buzau players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of -BZF- Viitorul Buzau booed when Muget was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bogdan Gârneață didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Petru Sabău sped through -BZF- Viitorul Buzau's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dorel Pascu. A collision led to Muget getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Bogdan Gârneață hit a great ball. In the 33rd match minute, -BZF- Viitorul Buzau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cazimir Papadima to maneuver through the defense. Dorel Pascu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Petru Sabău went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. In the 40th minute Petru Sabău shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dorel Pascu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the -BZF- Viitorul Buzau defense, Petru Sabău kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dorel Pascu. The -BZF- Viitorul Buzau fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dorel Pascu should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mihai Ignea was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mugur Popescu in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dorel Pascu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 57th minute, Cazimir Papadima hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dorel Pascu was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Cristian Mărăcuță. Dorel Pascu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petru Sabău in the 62nd minute of the match. -BZF- Viitorul Buzau were furious when Albert Baican was red carded, 64 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. When the match had been going on for 65 minutes, Muget's Petru Sabău got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Dorel Pascu. Petru Sabău was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 67th minute. Muget's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Dorel Pascu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petru Sabău in the 69th minute of the match. -BZF- Viitorul Buzau's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Petru Sabău 69 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-7. If Dacian Rogozea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 79 played minutes Muget got a freekick which was hit by Horia Bota. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ion Popilean during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 81 played minutes -BZF- Viitorul Buzau got a freekick which was hit by Ion Popilean. 84 minutes into the match, -BZF- Viitorul Buzau's goal looked a bit too open when Petru Sabău came free, but Dorel Pascu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dacian Rogozea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 86 minutes, Narcis Brăescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the -BZF- Viitorul Buzau and the Muget players grew even worse after the yellow card. Narcis Brăescu hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Dorel Pascu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petru Sabău, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute.
