If Ludomil Waselewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Waldemar Cizeski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Agustin Elija went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Waldemar Cizeski came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Agustin Elija. But to his dismay, Agustin Elija quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 30th minute of the game. One of Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Olympique Gdynia:s goal. After some careless play in the Olympique Gdynia defense, Agustin Elija kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Waldemar Cizeski. The Olympique Gdynia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Waldemar Cizeski should have stopped the shot. Olympique Gdynia's Waldemar Cizeski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustin Elija in the 42nd minute of play. Camilo Palben hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Edgardo Kinsen's late challenge caught a Olympique Gdynia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edgardo Kinsen helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Edgardo Kinsen hit a great ball. The Olympique Gdynia players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ were winning 2-3.

The supporters of Olympique Gdynia booed when Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedicto Lobo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
