Joar Vallengren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Börje Jonsson in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maurinho Lima saved Reko-Recko 03™ from getting behind. Maurinho Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Ersman in the 19th minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Polly Magoo Juniors's goalkeeper Joar Vallengren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hernani Hermes. Reko-Recko 03™'s Hortêncio Paraense got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joar Vallengren was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Vavá Recko showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 28 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hortêncio Paraense got free with Joar Vallengren in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Hortêncio Paraense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hernani Hermes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joar Vallengren having to interfere. After 42 played minutes Polly Magoo Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Sverker Kinnman. In the 43rd match minute, Polly Magoo Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gunnar Olofsson to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute, Reko-Recko 03™'s Ernani Messias dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. In the 48th minute, Marcos Faria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Börje Jonsson was the one to do the kick off. Maurinho Lima showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Börje Jonsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 58th match minute, Reko-Recko 03™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcos Faria to maneuver through the defense. Börje Jonsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Börje Jonsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurinho Lima having to interfere. Gunnar Olofsson kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Joar Vallengren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernani Messias in the 75th minute of play. Börje Jonsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Maurinho Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, Polly Magoo Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Hortêncio Paraense came free, but Joar Vallengren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gunnar Olofsson was shown his second yellow card after 88 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 96th match minute, Reko-Recko 03™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hortêncio Rosa to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Reko-Recko 03™ fans cheered their team off the field, for while Polly Magoo Juniors had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
