Tome Bencoiechea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romeu Lira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 10 minutes into the game, Santiago Cabezas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sobrecastell UD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wolves FC - DMZ the free kick. After 11 played minutes Sobrecastell UD got a freekick which was hit by Santiago Cabezas. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gilberto Bodelon during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a little luck, Sobrecastell UD's Tome Bencoiechea got control of the ball when Deivid Prestes tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 20th minute, one of Wolves FC - DMZ:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Wolves FC - DMZ. 29 minutes into the match, Kiko Ponce De Leon notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Wolves FC - DMZ's Zé Veloso. Zé Veloso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Richie Vagrande fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sobrecastell UD's protests and gave Richie Vagrande a yellow card for diving instead. In the 35th match minute, Sobrecastell UD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richie Vagrande to maneuver through the defense. Zé Veloso came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Sobrecastell UD's Kiko Ponce De Leon. But to his dismay, Kiko Ponce De Leon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3.

The wind increased when Kiko Ponce De Leon made the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes of play, Wolves FC - DMZ's Deivid Prestes made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tome Bencoiechea was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tome Bencoiechea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tião Custódio, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 58th minute Deivid Prestes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tome Bencoiechea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Sobrecastell UD defense, Tiaguinho Velloso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tome Bencoiechea. The Sobrecastell UD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tome Bencoiechea should have stopped the shot. Sobrecastell UD's Tome Bencoiechea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiaguinho Velloso in the 68th minute of play. Tome Bencoiechea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Deivid Prestes in the 70th minute of play. Tome Bencoiechea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tião Custódio, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Zé Veloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Bodelon in the 74th minute of the match. Deivid Prestes's late challenge caught a Sobrecastell UD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Deivid Prestes helped the player get up and apologised. After 80 played minutes Wolves FC - DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Severino Botelho. 89 minutes into the match, Wolves FC - DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Bodelon came free, but Zé Veloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 95 played minutes Sobrecastell UD got a freekick which was hit by Gilberto Bodelon. Dráuzio Leite was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 97 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 96th minute of the game. One of Wolves FC - DMZ:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sobrecastell UD:s goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Wolves FC - DMZ fully deserved thier win.
