If Rodrigo das Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Rasnita booed when Miau Stars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anderson Sena didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dráuzio Barbosa scored 1-3 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Șerban Iacobeanu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nelson Pires to make the kick off. Jonas Arósio struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Șerban Iacobeanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Miau Stars. Aurelian Siadbei's late challenge caught a Miau Stars's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aurelian Siadbei helped the player get up and apologised. In the 57th minute, Aurelian Siadbei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 58 minutes, Antônio Miranda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Miau Stars's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antônio Miranda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Șerban Iacobeanu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nelson Pires showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 67 minute of play. Sidney Queirós came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Rasnita's Gavril Manea. But to his dismay, Gavril Manea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. With 79 minutes on the clock, Aurelian Siadbei commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 86 played minutes Miau Stars got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Sousa. In the 91st minute Gelu Tăzlăuanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sidney Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rasnita's defense didn't have a chance, in the 94th minute, when Dráuzio Barbosa scored to the left of an out of position Șerban Iacobeanu, making the score, 2-6. Rasnita's Gavril Manea got a good chance for a goal in the 100th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Miau Stars were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Rasnita's much stronger midfield.
