Spectators: 7513 (Terracing: 5635, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 150) Rasnita's Gelu Tăzlăuanu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute, Pavel Alucusan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Rasnita getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Gavril Manea hit a great ball. 18 minutes in the game, Gelu Tăzlăuanu dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Luka Saje scored 1-0 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Șerban Iacobeanu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Leonard Chirculescu hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute, Pavel Alucusan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, FC Koper's Znadimir Tancek got a free kick in the 31st minute. If Leonard Chirculescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pavel Alucusan's late challenge caught a FC Koper's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pavel Alucusan helped the player get up and apologised. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aurelian Siadbei during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 43rd match minute, Rasnita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelian Siadbei to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Rasnita's Pavel Alucusan got his second yellow card of the match in the 56th minute. The referee ordered Pavel Alucusan off the ground. In the 57th match minute, Rasnita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pavel Alucusan to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th minute of the match Mato Podlogar shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Șerban Iacobeanu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 60thth minute of the game Gelu Tăzlăuanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Koper's Bine Šercelj was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gavril Manea hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Timi Osojnik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gelu Tăzlăuanu in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bine Šercelj saved FC Koper from getting behind. After 69 played minutes Rasnita got a freekick which was hit by Gavril Manea. 71 minutes into the game, Forti Draksler was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Koper's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rasnita the free kick. The supporters of Rasnita booed when FC Koper was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Forti Draksler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bine Šercelj was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ernest Gâfu. Bine Šercelj stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gelu Tăzlăuanu's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. After 75 played minutes FC Koper got a freekick which was hit by Znadimir Tancek. FC Koper's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Gelu Tăzlăuanu 76 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. Bine Šercelj showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gelu Tăzlăuanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 89th minute Luka Saje shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Șerban Iacobeanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 91 played minutes FC Koper got a freekick which was hit by Timi Osojnik. Dacian Doman took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 92nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bine Šercelj. FC Koper's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Bine Šercelj made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gelu Tăzlăuanu in the 93rd minute of play. Rasnita's Gelu Tăzlăuanu got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Despite being the better team, Rasnita failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
