The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Eugenio Laurin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 9 minutes into the match, Nilson Soares dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Eugenio Laurin, 1-0. Nilson Soares kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. The supporters of Miau Stars booed when Informaniaticos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Calvet didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute, Nilson Soares made a precise shot to the right of Eugenio Laurin. Informaniaticos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. When Dráuzio Barbosa came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Miau Stars fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dráuzio Barbosa couldn't finish the play. Justino Chinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sidney Queirós having to interfere. Sidney Queirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justino Chinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Miau Stars's Nilson Soares in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristóvão Xavier to strike the kick off in the second half. Cristóvão Xavier struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Eugenio Laurin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Miau Stars. After a defensive mix-up in Informaniaticos's zone, Nilson Soares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eugenio Laurin came out of the goal and Nilson Soares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Clodoveo Porfiro charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Clodoveo Porfiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nilson Soares took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 59th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eugenio Laurin. Informaniaticos's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Erubiel Millan took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sidney Queirós. Sidney Queirós dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. In the 69th minute, Jonas Sousa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 72nd minute Informaniaticos were awarded a corner. Ciro Luar went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Informaniaticos's corner Ciro Luar fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sidney Queirós quite easily take care of the ball. Sidney Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justino Chinto, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Eugenio Laurin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dráuzio Barbosa in the 77th minute of the match. When Ciro Luar fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Informaniaticos's protests and gave Ciro Luar a yellow card for diving instead. In the 78th match minute, Informaniaticos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciro Luar to maneuver through the defense. 80 minutes into the game, Moises Pero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Informaniaticos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Miau Stars the free kick. A collision led to Informaniaticos getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Moises Pero hit a great ball. Nilson Soares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute.
