Rasnita's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zendraget BK the free kick. In the 2nd match minute, Rasnita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sever Apostol to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th minute, Karl Frisck made a precise shot to the right of Șerban Iacobeanu. Rasnita's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a rather tough play, Rasnita's Sever Apostol got a free kick in the 13th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Karl Frisck in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Șerban Iacobeanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Șerban Iacobeanu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Karl Frisck went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Zendraget BK's Kaj Vestberg got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 21st minute, Karl Frisck ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Șerban Iacobeanu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Silviu Hârlab hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. 30 minutes into the game, Thor Nordin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Șerban Iacobeanu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 34th minute, Kennet Benett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 35 played minutes Zendraget BK got a freekick which was hit by Börje Rudberg. Aurelian Siadbei could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Henning Norberg made a huge save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
After having played for 52 minutes, Gunnar Berg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zendraget BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gunnar Berg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 53 minutes, Pavel Alucusan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rasnita and the Zendraget BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 53rd minute, Pavel Alucusan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joacim Deckberg hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Henning Norberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gelu Tăzlăuanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonard Chirculescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henning Norberg having to interfere. After 63 played minutes Rasnita got a freekick which was hit by Silviu Hârlab. Börje Rudberg took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Șerban Iacobeanu. Rasnita's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Henning Norberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gelu Tăzlăuanu in the 67th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the game, Aurelian Siadbei was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aurelian Siadbei was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 89th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. With an all-out effort, Zendraget BK's Șerban Iacobeanu threw himself towards the right post 91 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Thor Nordin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Gunnar Berg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Șerban Iacobeanu made a huge save. When the match was over Zendraget BK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Rasnita throughout the match.
