In the 24th minute, KS Zryw Rybitwy's Juliusz Mentis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Miroslaw Lepper kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After 30 played minutes AVV Zeeburgia got a freekick which was hit by Ferdi de Zaaijer. Tytus Rydzyk charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tytus Rydzyk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of AVV Zeeburgia booed when KS Zryw Rybitwy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tytus Rydzyk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Han Wilbrink charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Han Wilbrink the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 38th match minute, AVV Zeeburgia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Han Wilbrink to maneuver through the defense. Tytus Rydzyk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Dirk Jan Snoeks made a huge save. In the 41st minute Wojciech Prokowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dirk Jan Snoeks saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 48 minutes, Juliusz Mentis took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Dirk Jan Snoeks to make any attempt to save it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arie van Zeist made a kick off. Dirk Jan Snoeks stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tytus Rydzyk's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Dirk Jan Snoeks stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Juliusz Mentis's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Dirk Jan Snoeks made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juliusz Mentis in the 94th minute of play. Many of AVV Zeeburgia's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. AVV Zeeburgia may have spent more time on the ball, but KS Zryw Rybitwy were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
