The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teo Gamus during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 5 played minutes Kalessin got a freekick which was hit by Teo Gamus. Lúcio dos Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrian-Alberto Arozamena in the 7th minute of the match. In the 8th minute, XV de Indaial's Severino Borges dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Dinei Britto hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. 13 minutes into the match, XV de Indaial's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian-Alberto Arozamena came free, but Lúcio dos Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Kalessin's Adrian-Alberto Arozamena got a free kick in the 15th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 17th minute of the game. One of Kalessin:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of XV de Indaial:s goal. Severino Borges shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Lúcio dos Santos came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Kalessin's Hector Cordeiro. But to his dismay, Hector Cordeiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Samuel Jordy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severino Borges in the 37th minute of the match. Victoriano Amaya kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Lúcio dos Santos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hilario Dalmai went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score.

Lúcio dos Santos was a little too slow when Hector Cordeiro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 53rd minute. The score was now 2-3. Hector Cordeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hilario Dalmai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcus Soeiro's late challenge caught a Kalessin's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcus Soeiro helped the player get up and apologised. Samuel Jordy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Borges in the 64th minute of play. Emiliano Sanders might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lúcio dos Santos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emiliano Sanders ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 66th minute, Emiliano Sanders fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 67th match minute, XV de Indaial was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcus Soeiro to maneuver through the defense. 70 minutes into the match, Hector Cordeiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lúcio dos Santos. XV de Indaial's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hector Cordeiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. Hilario Dalmai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lúcio dos Santos having to interfere. In the 77th match minute, Kalessin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hilario Dalmai to maneuver through the defense. Emiliano Sanders recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 81 minutes, Hilario Dalmai managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kalessin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hilario Dalmai was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lúcio dos Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector Cordeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 86 minutes into the game, Victoriano Amaya was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kalessin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave XV de Indaial the free kick. Victoriano Amaya hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severino Borges in the 87th minute of play forced Kalessin's goalkeeper Samuel Jordy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hector Cordeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Lúcio dos Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Samuel Jordy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severino Borges, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kalessin's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
