Sporting Tuga FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Clemente Fonda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Sporting Tuga FC's Albertino Oliveira got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 13th minute Benito Maurino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dário Vilar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute, Clemente Fonda ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dário Vilar was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After 22 played minutes Terapia Intensiva got a freekick which was hit by Atilano Vergaray. With his leg Damaso Cresconio managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when Sporting Tuga FC's Vladimiro Meireles fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Clemente Fonda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dário Vilar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Raul Furtado hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. When Sporting Tuga FC's Vladimiro Meireles in 38 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Damaso Cresconio guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Dário Vilar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clemente Fonda, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Sporting Tuga FC's Dário Vilar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clemente Fonda in the 46th minute of play. Raul Furtado charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raul Furtado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 47 played minutes Terapia Intensiva got a freekick which was hit by Raul Furtado.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Clemente Fonda made a kick off. If Atilano Vergaray had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute Atilano Vergaray shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dário Vilar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clemente Fonda took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dário Vilar. Dário Vilar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ovidio Gabrio during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 62 played minutes Terapia Intensiva got a freekick which was hit by Ovidio Gabrio. Sporting Tuga FC's Dário Vilar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atilano Vergaray in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute, Albertino Oliveira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dário Vilar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atilano Vergaray in the 67th minute of play. If Vladimiro Meireles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute, Atilano Vergaray reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dário Vilar. The goal made the score 0-5. After some careless play in the Terapia Intensiva defense, Vladimiro Meireles kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Damaso Cresconio. The Terapia Intensiva fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Damaso Cresconio should have stopped the shot. In the 80th minute, Leonardo Sousa had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. After 80 minutes, Javier Chorache mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Terapia Intensiva and the Sporting Tuga FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 85th match minute, Terapia Intensiva was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ovidio Gabrio to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Albérico Camargo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sporting Tuga FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Albérico Camargo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Damaso Cresconio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Terapia Intensiva getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Raul Furtado hit a great ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Terapia Intensiva walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
