The Eleven Nation Army fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when Eleven Nation Army's Aleksander Brander looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Lúcio dos Santos came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Eleven Nation Army's Aleksander Brander. But to his dismay, Aleksander Brander quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. When Holger Brovall came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Eleven Nation Army fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Holger Brovall couldn't finish the play. XV de Indaial's Lúcio dos Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Myr in the 15th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dag Classon in the 17th minute of play forced XV de Indaial's goalkeeper Lúcio dos Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute Dag Classon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lúcio dos Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute, XV de Indaial's Anísio Quintal dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Joakim Lilja made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Marcus Soeiro sent off a good shot on target. In the 32nd minute Dag Classon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lúcio dos Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lúcio dos Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Myr, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Severino Borges made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Nelson Travassos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. XV de Indaial's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Eleven Nation Army the free kick. In the 53rd minute Kevin Nordlander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lúcio dos Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lúcio dos Santos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dag Classon in the 54th minute. In the 57th minute Aleksander Brander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lúcio dos Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nelson Travassos kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Kevin Nordlander kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lúcio dos Santos. That made the score 1-4 in the 59 minute of play. XV de Indaial's Lúcio dos Santos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save XV de Indaial from getting a goal against them. Lúcio dos Santos was a little too slow when Aleksander Brander got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 1-6. The audience thought a goal was coming when Holger Brovall got free with Lúcio dos Santos in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 95th match minute, XV de Indaial was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcus Soeiro to maneuver through the defense. Eleven Nation Army's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
