After 2 played minutes Eleven Nation Army got a freekick which was hit by Holger Brovall. Pawel Pieprz kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Boguslaw Brak charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Boguslaw Brak the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Myr in the 14th minute of play forced Purple Shadows's goalkeeper Zbyszko Duda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Holger Brovall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Zbyszko Duda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joakim Lilja made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zula Scislowicz in the 21st minute. In the 23rd minute, Dobromir Fafinski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zula Scislowiczs short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Joakim Lilja to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Joakim Lilja stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zula Scislowicz's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. 41 minutes into the game, Kent Målare was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Eleven Nation Army's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Purple Shadows the free kick. In the 41st match minute, Eleven Nation Army was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kent Målare to maneuver through the defense. Zula Scislowicz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Joakim Lilja made a huge save. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zula Scislowicz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Zula Scislowicz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Purple Shadows's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zula Scislowicz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kent Målare hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. When Dobromir Fafinski came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Purple Shadows fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dobromir Fafinski couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Purple Shadows's Zbyszko Duda got control of the ball when Holger Brovall tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 61stth minute of the game Zula Scislowicz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Eleven Nation Army's Joakim Lilja was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dag Classon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Zbyszko Duda made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Dag Classon kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zbyszko Duda. That made the score 0-1 in the 69 minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Purple Shadows's goalkeeper Zbyszko Duda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dag Classon. Eleven Nation Army's Joakim Lilja played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boguslaw Lamczyk in the 74th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Zula Scislowicz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Purple Shadows's supporters rose to their feet, but Zula Scislowicz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joakim Lilja breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joakim Lilja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zula Scislowicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 90thth minute of the game Zula Scislowicz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Eleven Nation Army's Joakim Lilja was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zula Scislowicz in the 92nd minute of play forced Eleven Nation Army's goalkeeper Joakim Lilja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zula Scislowicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
