Spectators: 7647 (Terracing: 5737, Seating: 1758, VIP seats: 152) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Youri Goolen kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Youri Goolen in the 10th minute of play forced Holfenhein's goalkeeper Ulrich Haas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 14 played minutes Holfenhein got a freekick which was hit by Okan Wagner. Holfenhein's Ulrich Haas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Holfenhein from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Flamenco United's zone, José Büchel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christoff Dirckx came out of the goal and José Büchel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Valerio Elkuch hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. 20 minutes into the game, Vicente Dechamps recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ulrich Haas. Vicente Dechamps showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. In the 22nd minute, Lucien Bastiaens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ulrich Haas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Theo Van Haght in the 25th minute of the match. Ulrich Haas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robbie Van Eijken, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christoff Dirckx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Büchel in the 45th minute of the match. In the 45th minute José Büchel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christoff Dirckx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for José Büchel to strike the kick off in the second half. Robbie Van Eijken kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Flamenco United made a substitution. Edward Wuyts replaced Youri Goolen. The supporters of Holfenhein booed when Flamenco United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robbie Van Eijken didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that José Büchel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christoff Dirckx was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. In the 64th minute, Matthieu Leempoels left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Flamenco United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. In the 76th minute Vicente Dechamps shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulrich Haas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Holfenhein's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Wuyts came free, but Ulrich Haas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Holfenhein's Valerio Elkuch got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 87th minute Edward Wuyts suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. A collision led to Holfenhein getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Elias Güthoff hit a great ball. Ulrich Haas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vicente Dechamps, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Flamenco United fully deserved thier win.
