Spectators: 7569 (Terracing: 5678, Seating: 1740, VIP seats: 151) Holfenhein's José Büchel started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers José Büchel in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Brian Hülsen saved FC Hollywood from getting behind. Ulrich Haas came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Hollywood's Kilian Bakker. But to his dismay, Kilian Bakker quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Per Dietrich hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Muhammet Cakir's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Brian Hülsen was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Ulrich Haas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michael Hoffmann in the 28th minute of the match. In the 33rdth minute of the game Okan Wagner who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Hollywood's Brian Hülsen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. José Büchel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Brian Hülsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When FC Hollywood's Kilian Bakker in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Holfenhein's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Büchel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Michael Hoffmann made a kick off. Okan Wagner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. José Büchel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brian Hülsen having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Holfenhein's Rissi Risch seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Rissi Risch the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Holfenhein protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Rissi Risch had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to Holfenhein getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Rissi Risch hit a great ball. Fabian Maierhans hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute Michael Hoffmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulrich Haas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brian Hülsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Büchel in the 72nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers José Büchel in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. Brian Hülsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Muhammet Cakir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 85 minutes into the game, Muhammet Cakir was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Holfenhein's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Hollywood the free kick. Muhammet Cakir kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Holfenhein's Ulrich Haas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michael Hoffmann in the 87th minute of play. Brian Hülsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Muhammet Cakir in the 90th minute of play. In the 92nd minute José Büchel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brian Hülsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
