Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 149) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Bernardino Quiroga got the match started through his kick off. Ismael Palban could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but David Bettney made a huge save. Trinidad 4.7's Ismael Palban came free and shot a quick shot against goal 7 minutes in the game, fortunately David Bettney had problems saving as it came toward the left post. 8 minutes into the game, Reg Renner was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Corinthians FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Trinidad 4.7 the free kick. The supporters of Trinidad 4.7 booed when Corinthians FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reg Renner didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Alfonso Odol fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Trinidad 4.7's protests and gave Alfonso Odol a yellow card for diving instead. In the 11th minute, Alfonso Odol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Trinidad 4.7 getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Rodrigo Urki hit a great ball. When Saturnino Henry fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Trinidad 4.7's protests and gave Saturnino Henry a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Corinthians FC booed when Trinidad 4.7 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saturnino Henry didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Bernardino Quiroga put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of David Bettney. In the 27th minute, Johnny Wadham made a precise shot to the right of Bonifacio Cordareo. Trinidad 4.7's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 30th minute Tris Stockley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bonifacio Cordareo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Reg Renner left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Corinthians FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Bonifacio Cordareo came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Corinthians FC's Johnny Wadham. But to his dismay, Johnny Wadham quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Bonifacio Cordareo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tris Stockley in the 41st minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.
The wind increased when Johnny Wadham made the kick off in the second half. Mauricio Claude hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Trinidad 4.7's Bonifacio Cordareo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johnny Wadham in the 55th minute of play. Trinidad 4.7's defense didn't have a chance, in the 56th minute, when Danny Wybrow scored to the left of an out of position Bonifacio Cordareo, making the score, 1-4. David Bettney took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardino Quiroga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tris Stockley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eusebio Guerrero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Bettney read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Bonifacio Cordareo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johnny Wadham, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After 82 minutes of play, Corinthians FC's Tris Stockley made it 2-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bonifacio Cordareo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 85 minutes, Rodrigo Urki mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Trinidad 4.7 and the Corinthians FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 86th play minutes Johnny Wadham shot 2-6, a short shot which went by Bonifacio Cordareo and just under the crossbar into goal. Trinidad 4.7's Bonifacio Cordareo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johnny Wadham in the 92nd minute of play. The Trinidad 4.7 supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Corinthians FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Corinthians FC.
