The Garrapatita Futbol fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Flavio Madaleno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Muc in the 12th minute of play. After 15 played minutes Newton FC got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Eder. In the 22nd minute, Primitivo Garcia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute Aristides Jorrin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Txindoki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 28 minutes, David Lamberto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Newton FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Lamberto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Flavio Madaleno was a little too slow when Igor Muc got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 2-0. Aristides Jorrin hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Newton FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Garrapatita Futbol had won, even though Newton FC had held more of the ball.
